Derek Little is a registered Architect and joined HRP in 2019 as Vice President, Design & Construction. Derek’s project management and architectural background encompasses over a decade of broad-based knowledge and experience ranging from project programming and design, construction drawing and detailing, and field experience in construction administration. His experience in design and construction, as well as his attention to detail and ability to drive the collaborate process, makes him a valuable asset to his project teams and to an effective and streamlined project delivery process.

Derek has spent over a decade of his career managing the design and construction of multiple award-winning adaptive-reuse and new construction projects as Senior Associate at Abacus Architects + Planners and more recently as an Owner’s Project Manager at VVA Project Managers. Derek holds a Master’s of Architecture from Wentworth Institute of Technology as well as being a member of the American Institute of Architects and a LEED Green Associate with the US Green Building Council.
