
Joe Jeray
Vice President, Environmental Remediation | New England Region
Joe Jeray joined HRP in 2020, and his primary responsibility is overseeing environmental remediation to meet regulatory standards in a way that is consistent with redevelopment objectives. Prior to joining Hilco, Joe spent over a decade working as an environmental consultant where he helped industrial clients develop cost-effective, compliant, and protective solutions consistent with their goals for environmental legacy management. He specializes in managing large, multi-faceted remediation projects with impacts to multiple media from a variety of contaminants and has managed projects under federal regulatory programs, including EPA Superfund (CERCLA) and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), as well as state programs. His experience includes the investigation and remediation of sites where chemical releases have impacted soil, groundwater, surface water, and sediment.
Joe is a registered professional engineer in Alabama, Massachusetts, and Maine. He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and an M.S. in Civil (Geotechnical) Engineering from Northeastern University.
