Mr. Collins joined HRP in October 2020 as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Collins is responsible for overseeing the corporate finance, treasury, accounting, and tax functions at HRP. Mr. Collins has more than 27 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, and corporate compliance in the real estate industry. Prior to HRP, he served as the CFO of Link Industrial Properties, a Blackstone-sponsored operating company in the industrial real estate sector. Mr. Collins also served as the CFO for the industrial real estate operations of GLP-US as well as GLP’s predecessor IndCor Properties from 2012 through 2018. During his time at Link, GLP-US, and IndCor, he contributed to the acquisition, financial analysis, management, and onboarding of over 400 million square feet of industrial real estate.
Prior to his CFO roles, Mr. Collins served as the Chief Accounting Officer and Controller of Pearlmark Real Estate Partners from 1998 through 2012, supervising the financial operations for a diverse portfolio of office, retail, multifamily, and industrial properties as well as for Pearlmark’s mezzanine lending and real estate security management companies. Mr. Collins began his career as an auditor at Ernst & Young and Grant Thornton. Mr. Collins earned his B.S. in Accountancy from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is a Certified Public Accountant.
