
Pat Kelly
Director of Utilities | Philadelphia
Pat Kelly joined HRP as Director of Utilities in June of 2020 . In his role, Mr. Kelly will lead and manage the overall electrical and utility infrastructure throughout the facility in a safe, reliable, and environmentally compliant manner. Mr. Kelly will also lead, coordinate, and support the decommissioning and demolition of the facility as it progresses into the development phase of the project, while driving strategic initiatives to support energy optimization efforts. In preparation for the decommission, Pat is currently working a multi-faceted plan in collaboration with internal and external resources, leveraging his vast facility and electrical infrastructure experience.
Mr. Kelly brings 30 years of oil and gas industry knowledge to the team. Pat is a high impact leader and technical professional with extensive experience in maintenance and operational roles in refining, electrical and process control manufacturing environments. Pat has managed and executed numerous planned outages and large-scale infrastructure upgrades throughout his career. Before transition to HRP, Pat was the Maintenance Manager for Philadelphia Energy Solutions, in which he led all phases of the department planning, execution, compliance, safety and reliability.
Mr. Kelly has an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science from Pierce College in Philadelphia, PA and a Certificate in Industrial Instrumentation Electronic Control from Spring Garden Community College in Philadelphia, PA. In addition, Pat is a certified control systems technician, member of the instrument and Automation Society and Six Sigma Green Belt .
